Project-Based Learning (PBL)

Project-Based Learning (sometimes called Problem-Based Learning) is learning by solving a problem or building a project through discovery rather than learning by memorizing or focusing on abstractions.
This class and portfolio requirement is an example of a PBL model. Other examples of PBL models include identifying a problem and writing a proposed solution, designing an app to solve a need, creating a business strategy for a new product, and so much more.
